My Health and Fitness

I all way try to stay Fit and Healthy.  Try being the operative word.  From a Young age I loved sports but was never any good at them.  I started Scuba Diving when I was 16 until my dad could no longer take me any more, that was over 20 years ago now.  

I then took up dance and preforming arts again when I turned 18 years old.

But work got in the way and had to come first and bills.  Once I finally past my drive test I when swimming three times a week, aerobics and aqua fit.  I loved every minute for it.  But after my second car accident I have never drove again, so I have to walk every where or use public transport; some days that is a fitness work out in it's self.


Since becoming a full time mum and having to have my gall balder removed in 2014, the year my son was born; I have been forced to look at my life and how I can improve it.  Not just for my own Health and Well-being but my 3 children too.


I want to see my children grow up and maybe have there own children one day.


I want to be able to play with my children and not just be a spectator in their lives because I am too sick to join in.


I also want my children to be Fit and Well, so I try to look at how I can do this but in a fun way.  The last thing that I would want is for either of my children to develop an eating disorder or be fitness to become an obsession.
So at the moment I try to cook home-made meals every day and try to encourage my children to eat them.  

I try not to buy too many processed foods or ones full of Palm oil and artificial sweeteners.


I am aware of the risk of too much salt, sugar and fat which is why I love to cook.


I always say “try to take at lest 5 minuets to rest and play every day.”
