Charity Event 1st July aming to keep the costs low and with in budget.

On 1st July 2023 I am raising money for Ovacome https://www.ovacome.org.uk/.

Yet when one is looking at raising money for any cause their are always  a few things that one much think about.

When

How

Why

How Much

Costs

Time.

So again I am trying to answer these questions.

I recently watched the film  "Bohemian Rhapsody"

"Bohemian Rhapsody" is a song by the British rock band Queen, released as the lead single from their fourth album, A Night at the Opera (1975). Written by lead singer Freddie Mercury, https://www.bing.com/search?q=bohemian+rhapsody&FORM=AWRE

Who in the movie chose to do a live concert for "FREE" call "LIVE AID."

Live Aid was a multi-venue benefit concert held on Saturday 13 July 1985, as well as a music-based fundraising initiative. The original event was organised by Bob Geldof and Midge Ure to raise further funds for relief of the 1983–1985 famine in Ethiopia, a movement that started with the release of the successful charity single "Do They Know It's Christmas?" in December 1984. Billed as the "global jukebox", Live Aid was held simultaneously at Wembley Stadium in London, attended by about 72,000 people, and John F. Kennedy Stadium in Philadelphia, attended by 89,484 people.[1][2]

Queen performance in July 1985 may have clocked in at just 17 minutes, but they were 17 minutes which would both make rock history and transform the band for good.

Now My Event is on  1st July 2023 I am raising money for Ovacome https://www.ovacome.org.uk/. and we will be playing "Queen." on the night at the 1980's Fantasy Film Masked Ball that will be taking place after the Wedding Fair at the same venue.

Tickets for the Charity Event can be purchased via the link(s) Below.

The aim of the event is to raise money for Ovarian Cancer Support in my home home and to help support people with in my community at the same time.

Yet sadly by doing this the following things have to be taken into account.

When

How

Why

How Much

Costs

Time.

So I will aim to break these down for you.

When Wil the event take place?

On 1st July 2023.  Tickets for the Charity Event can be purchased via the link(s) Below.

How will this be achieved?

On  1st July 2023 I am raising money for Ovacome https://www.ovacome.org.uk/. and we will be playing "Queen." and other music from 1980's movies on the night at the 1980's Fantasy Film Masked Ball that will be taking place after the Wedding Fair at the same venue.

Why am I doing this?

I am raising £1,000 for Ovacome https://www.ovacome.org.uk/. I know that may seam like a lot of money yet when you break it down it is not that much and will sadly only cover a few things that like any Charity that they need to stay open.

In Nuneaton one thing that we were known for was Charity Shops and £ Lands.

Yet during Lockdown due to Covid 19.  Around 4 Charity Shops closed in Nuneaton  and countless business too.

Sadly now in 2023 things still have not improved due to the cost of living crisis.

So my aim is to make this day about not just helping people with Ovarian Cancer but my local and wider community too.

How Much?

How much am I aiming to raise?
